While building a solid downline in the network marketing business may seem like an exercise in pure frustration, in reality there are many ways that you CAN do it. The most exciting part about this is that most of these methods are easily accessible and absolutely free. It doesn’t take much to gain leads when you are trying to build your downline and conducting network marketing recruiting. You don’t have to work all day and night and spend copious amount of money in order to get the leads that you need. With a few little free placements here and there, you can actually gain the prospects you’ve been long hunting for.

If you want to be successful at MLM recruiting without having to spend a fortune, you should set out to find all the sources of free advertising that you can. You can build your downline by placing an ad in free classified ads sites and you can also use online forums and message boards to do so. These days, internet lead generation may be your best bet in trying to reach as many people, as almost everyone nowadays transacts and operates online. Sending emails is another way of gaining prospects when MLM recruiting. Make sure you look for safe email lists, where your email advertisements won’t simply be marked as spam mail. You can also get more leads by putting the website of the business opportunity that you are promoting in your email’s signature line. Do the same if you make posts in web forums or other places where you can advertise for free. This way, possible prospects who are reading your emails and posts will have easy access to more information about your offered opportunity.

Another way to attract prospects when you try to build your downline is to create a blog. Set up a simple blog to talk about your product, the opportunities you offer, and the gains and benefits. Update your blog and talk about new developments and events in line with the business. Ensure that the content you are providing for your readers is easy for them to understand and contains factual information, not simply marketing hype.

Remember, though, not to give away too much or sell anything too directly. A blog is a great tool to have people come to you and seek more information about the opportunity that you are promoting. With the great popularity of blogs, it is definitely a great way to get people reading and build your downline. Finally, though it may seem pass, offline promotions are still a great way to build your downline. Your can print flyers, business cards, brochures, pamphlets and give them in out in crowded places. Leave flyers in your local stores, bus stations, cafes, and every public area that can accommodate it. Make sure you have a set of business cards on hand all the time, to give out to all your new prospects.

By making a modest amount of effort and being patient, you will find that you are able to easily build your downline to levels that you would not have thought possible before. These simple strategies can generate leads no matter how farfetched it seems. Just remember that reaching the market is the only way to get known, so exhaust every means of advertising possible.

I’m going to prove to you that you don’t fit in. In fact, I didn’t either.

Here is the good news; we are the kind of people that can make things happen and make great things occur.

You’re a big thinker and may not know it yet. You read old books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. You’ve told people about it and some may have thought that you are weird.

You may have not got it right 100% in the past but that is okay, you will get a chance to reap the great rewards.

You are destined to be an influencer…You see, you have been preparing for something big and I want to remind you what you have in your head. That is right, all those books and the good stuff you’ve been putting into your mind will take off.

I don’t care what program or opportunity you’re in…I’m sure it’s a good one.

What you need are 2-3 people to bounce ideas off of, a couple of people that truly cheer you on and reveal to YOU who YOU are.

Let’s face it…how much money, real cash are you making in your business right now. Are you a “super executive” or a “Diamond” yet? This process will cause you to go to another level, to massively influence others. When you have people around you that support you even if they aren’t your upline, downline, etc., then you are on to something. Maybe you’ve felt weird about telling people about your program but it doesn’t have to be that way any longer. Your relatives don’t have to understand YOU or your comments from The Magic of Thinking Big, As a Man Thinketh or Think and Grow Rich…

Get around those that think different; that think different like YOU. Soon you will have people listening to you and a business growing. It has little to do with your opportunity or if you are a good person or go to church or this or that.

You have to be out of context… The Good News is there are millions of people just like you and me. We are the people that don’t quite fit…We are just a little different and we do have vision…

“Hey Al, how come people don’t get it?”

“Hey Al, why do I feel different?”

“Hey Al, why am I so weird?”

You see, you have a dream a desire to be great. The people that you have come across have no difference between their reality and their self image. Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Abe Lincoln and Ben Franklin were all considered weird too.

You aren’t really motivated by money… (really). Being a capitalist is great; do it! But you would still be YOU…

It’s okay that most people don’t understand you or don’t see it. It’s supposed to be this way and your mistake has is not understanding these people just see life different. Your friends, neighbors and family are not stupid…they may be ignorant.

They are reading the right books and happy with their $40k a year job and can not see beyond that. That is the way it is; they earn to the degree of their title.

Three kinds of people…

1) Success motivated

2) Failure motivated

3) Mediocrity

Work on YOU and make that YOUR program. Don’t worry, the people will come and you will grow. Be a “can do” person and get around others that think the same way.

“Hey Al, you don’t understand I “use to” do great in this industry”

“Hey Al, people aren’t duplicating”

“Hey Al, I’m just not making enough money and I’ve been in 9 programs”

I can tell you it’s not the program; YOU are the progam. Forget hard work or all construction workers would live in mansions. Perseverance? Are you kidding me?

Until you are willing to do WHATEVER it takes (not about hard work or perseverance) then you will keep getting what you have gotten so far.

YOUR program is who YOU become and being able to press on, move forward and doing whatever it takes.

Become the right person and you will attract people…

Circulate positive energy and you will get people’s attention…

Are you willing to do anything?

Do you really have will power?

And….

If you have doubt, then there’s something missing in your life. There is a reason you are denying yourself BUT you can change that.

Be happy that you’re different…

Tantalus was downright EVIL

Tantalus did some really bad stuff–like killing and eating his son–then begging for the god’s forgiveness.

His punishment for being a bad god was to be banished to a pool of water up to his neck with the limb of a fruit tree over head that he could not reach.

When he tried to get fruit, the branch of the tree would lift away from him. When he tried to drink from the pool, the water receded before he could get any. There was also a stone precariously balanced over his head.

Tantalus is the root of the word tantalize, meaning experiencing temptation without possibility of satisfaction.

Do you find success in multi-level marketing to be beyond your grasp?

Do you want the fruit of a rewarding business, but find it constantly out of your reach? Do you thirst for financial independence, but never get quenched? Is there a rock of debt and job insecurity teetering over your head, threatening to crush what you cherish?

Why aren’t you succeeding in network marketing? What’s missing? Do you need a better comp plan? Better training? A product you can be proud of?

While those factors are important, they’re not the MOST important factors. You need to have a good product, upline, and comp plan. You won’t feel real satisfaction if you think your company is not top-notch.

More than anything else, you need to have a system. You need a track to run on. You need to know that you’ll be able to arrive…if you just follow the proven steps.

In network marketing, you don’t want to have to create your own systems. Choose a company that has a solid system already in place. MLM is great because the system is already in place for you. It doesn’t take creativity to succeed. All it takes is application and persistence.

Without the will to make it happen, all you have is a wish. My mother told me long ago that, “If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride”.

Are you ready to succeed, or are you still in the state of wishful thinking? Are you hoping you’ll win the MLM lottery?

Are you getting the support you need from those above you? Do you have a system, a track to run on? If you don’t. you owe it to your prospects and your family to find one. You’re taking your financial future in your hands. that’s an act that’s too important to leave to chance.

If you’re fully engaged in a worthwhile MLM company, success is not far out of your grasp. You’re not like Tantalus.

Reach out to those above you. They’ll give you the help you need. Reach down to those below you, help them up and you’ll both prosper. Before you know it, you’ll find that your life has changed and that your dreams ARE achievable.

Marketing and lead generation is the main priority to your success but your state of mind or your inner game is actually more important than any marketing you could do.

2) Work on smiling more and see those around you at work, in the park and at the store and smile at people and say hello. You just might trigger something positive in others and this will develop the correct habits and thinking to feel abundant, happy and fulfilled. This is a simple but effective technique so go ahead and try it.

3) Begin each day with optimism and not with fear. Yes, start out n the morning with the thoughts of achieving, of doing and of accomplishing your goal. Do not fear the day or the challenge and in fact, spend no time in the “worry” space and just take action with this inspired optimism.

4) While you continue working towards developing your stronger mindset, decide to take on something new. It can be a hobby, the decision to get into shape or to finally read that book you’ve been meaning to get to for some time now. These positive changes can do very good for you.

Previously, I show you some easy and simple things to consider. In fact, so simple you may tend to overlook them so please take a moment to re-review this and apply these now, today.

3) Stop thinking people know everything you know they dont! You have something to offer and if you dont then go and find something to give.

By asking this question to yourself. Why would People want to join me? This is a very good question to pose to yourself, make a list of all the positive qualities and skills that you have and start to look at ways how you will get better and how you will teach them.

MLM Branding is about learning and teaching and providing more than you receive. Everything a person does or say is actually your brand therefore think regarding everything you tend to be doing.

I just got off the telephone with a person that called me after he saw me blog and Facebook fan page and he was frustrated and was asking for advice.

During that conversation, I felt his pain as we have all gone through or are presently going through the pain of succeeding at home. He told me about all the programs and M.LMs he had been in and that he tried this and that. He mentioned a couple of Guru programs and the poor guy was frustrated at his next to zero results.

After a few minutes, I knew his problem and how to fix it…

I told him there are 2 things that matter more to your success then anything else.

A. Marketing

B. Mindset

I advised him that we can always work on finding effective marketing and there are lots of ways to approach this to fit all budget levels. There is effective online and offline stuff.

However, mindset is what was really holding him back. His attitude was not in the best place, he felt people had taken advantage of him and even though he was a nice guy…he had a “victim mentality”.

I told him he had to work on his self esteem, start reading books, listening to audios and that in my opinion, success would be difficult at best of he didn’t focus on this and get it right.

This is a very sad thing…he had a good attitude with me but he didn’t “get it” and is looking for the secret or the magic bullet to riches from home. Guys, it doesn’t work like that.
